I got this jumper for my cousins christmas present but it was so pretty I just had to wear it for this outfit.... I hope she wont mind :/ I only had it on for a few minutes haha! She said she loved it anyway so yay! I was meant to be going back to London today but the train tickets were super expensive so I am going to stay in Birmingham a little while longer, I'm considering dragging Ryan to the charity shops in a bit hehe!!

PALOMA FAITH ART EXHIBITION

Earlier last month I had an extremely busy day, it consisted of the River Island, New Look and Bank SS14 Press days, and then afterwards, this super exciting event which I can't believe I got invited to!! Now I have to admit, I've never listened to Paloma's music, however I can pretty much say that about 99% of people in the charts right now seeing as all I ever listen to is Korn, Avenged Sevenfold and Marilyn Manson. However, I absolutely love Paloma Faiths style! I remember a few years ago when she first appeared on the Jonathan Ross show and I had no idea who she was and it was just after her first single had been released and I watched it just because I was amazed at how cool she was, so ever since I've always googled her occasionally to have a peek at what shes wearing aha! I love her hair and vintage inspired dress sense and love for quirky things! (She had a stiletto shoe phone/ headphones at the exhibition how cool is that) and the photos at her exhibition were really amazing, I wish I could take photos like that.

I met some lovely people after walking around awkwardly for a few hours and then finally plucking up the courage to interact with others. Princess Julia turned up half way through the event and surprised me so it was lovely to see her since the MUSE project ended and also Pam Hogg (oh my god) appeared halfway through the night and we had a brief chat, I still can't believe I actually met her, she said I was pretty and kissed my hand which I said I would never wash again, but fortunately I have because it might be rather manky by now if I hadn't. I wish I had got a photo with Pam as she's such a great designer... and her hair is also really cool!

FEATHER SKIRT

This outfit is from the other day, the skirt is so pretty some of the feathers are petrol coloured and I keep wearing it to events, I've had to stop myself from wearing it now because sometimes I think everyones already seen me wearing it haha! A few years ago there was a similar one in topshop but it was really expensive so I didn't get it so I am making up for lost time. Yesterday I went for a second Christmas dinner with the entire family and somehow I managed to eat four crispy strips, a giant christmas dinner and icecream, however then I thought it was possible I may explode and had so sit quietly and focus on not exploding. Afterwards me and my cousins went to the sales but I only found some £3 underwear, maybe I will go when I am back in London! Although everything might be gone by then wahh!!

CHRISTMAS OUTFIT!

Hi guys! This is what I wore on christmas day, not very christmasy I know, I saved my actual christmas outfit for today as I went for a meal with my family, I ate so much its been almost seven hours and I am still completely full, earlier I thought I might explode! What did you guys get for christmas? My parents bought me a new camera which I've been wanting for ages yay! and my boyfriend bought me some MAC and Benefit makeup which I shall have to review and my grandparents gave me tickets for Harry Potter Studio tour, I'm so excited I've wanted to go since it opened ages ago!

Yesterday I was really upset because I couldn't get my camera to take the type of photos I wanted it to, but I've chosen the best from the ones we took and now I've edited them they look quite good. I like to be able to do things amazingly straight away and if I can't I get really upset so yesterday I was sad because I didn't know how to use my camera, I guess I will have to learn, I have no patience!!!

Last week I received a package containing lots of goodies from I Was Estelle! I'm not normally a fan of tie-dye since it was so prominent last year, I'm a bit sick of it now, however I Was Estelle has combined tie-dye with pretty irresistible holographic tranfsers and we all know how much I like holographic stuff so I was really pleased when they asked to send me a few things to style!

I'm getting super excited for tomorrow, christmas dinner is going to be amazing I think its what I'm looking forward to the most. I'm also really excited about a possible present that I may be getting but I might have to wait until after christmas for it so I wont mention it just yet!

Walks with the dogs are always the best time for photos! I love mixing tartan at the moment because you can never have too much tartan, and I absolutely love these shoes from New Look, I remember looking at some similar ones in Urban Outfitters three years ago and wanting them but they were £50 and these were just £15 in the sale yay!

The weather has been so awful recently its putting a huge dampner on me being able to go out, also my favourite umbrella from John Lewis is bent, I got it last year and I've realised I've never shown any of you its marvellousness so I will have to do that sometime soon because its truly the worlds prettiest umbrella!

I took these photos ages ago however then I realised I couldn't post them until I had done my Get Ready With Me post for Missguided, oops! The coat is so nice and fluffy I couldn't resist wearing it. Today I am making mince pies and getting super christmasy!! I might even ask my mom if we can make homemade Baileys/ Irish Whisky which is kind of a christmas tradition by now as we've made it three years in a row!

Last friday I was lucky enough to go to CageCity for CageCity Meets!! Its something they do with bloggers every week where the blogger gets to choose a variety of outfits from all the clothes that CageCity stocks! Its essentially a big dress up party and photoshoot so its really fun, I also did an interview which you can read on their website HERE! It was super fun, for some reason all the items I chose ended up being black/ purple/ blue or white, clearly this was the colour palette my subconscious was going for!

I've always been interested in CageCity since they tweeted me last year when they first opened their online store and its so nice to see how far they've come and it was lovely to finally get to know the girls behind the brand (I stayed over by about ten million hours just chatting with them about various things aha!) They're on a mission to stock unusual and out-there clothes from small and big clothing companies and even fashion design graduates!! They even have a handmade section. When I finish my final third year collection I know who I'm going to approach first!
